Retirement financial planner (Thanks to Wayne Geary)
A guideline for financial planning towards retirement or other milestones. Enter data applicable to yourself in the left columns:
- bank account name/number details into column B,
- quantities of accounts/shares etc into column C,
- item values (price per share or account) into column D, and
- other details (ages, lump sums, interest/tax rates, etc) into column E.
You'll also enter typical interest rates, inflation rates, taxation rates, annual savings from salary while working, current cost of living, frequency for car and major white goods purchases and the frequency for major holidays.
