Connecting to the Web Through Psimail Internet.
With the correct scripts and the right combination of modem you can collect your mails and peruse the site you want, all very straight forward.
The only two drawbacks are:
- The browser is only HTML v2 (Info about it can be found in TCR Format here) compliant able to understand tables and forms, but no Java (Current HTML Version is 4)
- Memory: you really need lots free. Books say: make sure you have all unnecessary applications closed and have about 300k+ free for emails etc.
Connecting
- With Desktop (External Modem) Solutions, you will need:
- A competent modem (speed not an issue with most ISPs).
- A Link Cable, available from any Psion retailer or Chris Archer or build one (Info)
- A Modem adapter, again available from any Psion retailer or Chris Archer or build one (Info)
Or
- A Pegasus II modem available from Clove Technology
Semi-Mobile (plug into phone socket) Solutions you will need:
